• Admission Eligibility: 12th Standard. Students with 10th standard having relevant experience can also apply.

Course Aims:

The aim of this course is to provide students with a strong foundation, and wide coverage of all aspects of the construction so that they could proceed to acquire higher degree qualifications.

The principal underlining this course is to merge theory with actual practices in the Singapore construction industry. The theories will base on the Singapore context and regulations.

Topics range from engineering, construction technology, facilities management principles and property development concepts. This enables graduates to proceed to any of the built environment degree programmes.

Entry Qualification: 

• A’ levels or Poly Diploma from other than Built Environment
• 3 “O” level or equivalent including English Language and 2 science subjects, with relevant working experience.
• Matured students, who have obtained other qualification and relevant work experience, will be considered on a case to case basis.

 English Proficiency:

• Those who without “O” level in English should pass the English Proficiency Test (or) pursue the Certificate of English for Business Studies offered by Heriot Watt University.

Other qualifications:

To be considered on a case to case basis.

Course Duration: 

Part Time: 15 months and Full Time: 12 months
